The Full Story

I started working with former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith (CBS) in early 2024. His aim has been to build his personal brand, become a house hold name and look forward to a career in media while being a commentator and punditry favourite.

Capturing Chris in training, through to media events has lead to his Instagram following has grown by 71%. In this time he defended his title against fellow British Boxer Richard Riakporhe and narrowly lost to Mexican boxer Gilberto Ramírez.

When I capture an athlete, I like to emulate their unique traits, team dynamics and meticulous attitude to their training. This behind-the-scenes insight is why people follow them on social media, to lift the lid on what it takes to be a pro athlete and see how they spend their time.

Seeing a pro boxer in camp, you quickly appreciate the speed, power and endurance they possess. Their ability to fight on through pain, and fatigue is an eye opener.
